Sharp MX-M1054

The Sharp MX-M1054 is a 105 ppm A3 monochrome production-class MFP from Sharp's earlier production line — built for centralized print rooms, mailrooms, and high-volume B&W production zones doing 100,000 to 250,000 pages a month. Sold today as refurbished hardware for shops that need real B&W production capability without a new-machine quote. It runs 105 ppm at 1200 x 1200 dpi, supports 11 x 17 and heavier media, has duplex print and scan, and ships with the older production panel. Networking covers Gigabit Ethernet and USB. The thing buyers regret: at 105 ppm, the duty hours add up fast on a refurb — anything over 5M lifetime pages is high-mileage on this class, and complex parts (fuser, transfer roller, drum sets) are getting harder to source quickly. Confirm meter and parts pipeline before signing. With low meter and a real service contract, this is a serious B&W production tool; without those, it is a budget grenade.
