Sharp MX-M316N
The Sharp MX-M316N is a 31 ppm A3 monochrome MFP, close cousin of the MX-M314N from Sharp's earlier generation. Sold today refurbished for small offices doing 3,500 to 8,500 B&W pages a month. It supports 31 ppm at 1200 x 1200 dpi, 11 x 17, duplex print and scan, the older Sharp panel, Gigabit Ethernet, USB, and optional Wi-Fi. The thing buyers regret: the MX-M314N and MX-M316N share most of the engine but ship with different finisher and tray SKUs — order the wrong part and you eat the swap. Always confirm the suffix on every parts and accessory order. As refurbished kit with the right parts, a service contract, and a meter under 1.2 million, the MX-M316N is workable for offices already running other legacy MX hardware; for new-purchase shoppers, the current MX-M3071 wins on parts pipeline, panel, and modern apps.
