Sharp MX-4111N

The Sharp MX-4111N is a 41 ppm A3 color MFP from the previous generation, common as a refurbished workgroup MFP for small offices that want full A3 color print, copy, and scan but cannot stretch to a current MX-7 model. It runs 41 ppm in color and black, supports 11 x 17, has duplex print and scan, and uses Sharp's pre-Android OSA panel. Volume target is 5,000 to 12,000 mixed pages a month for small accounting, real estate, or back-office teams. Networking is Gigabit Ethernet and USB, with optional wireless. The thing buyers regret: the OSA panel feels dated next to current Android touchscreens, and integrations with newer cloud services may need a third-party connector or a workaround through scan-to-email. If your workflows are mostly print and copy with scan-to-email, none of that bites. If you live in cloud workflows, buy a current MX-4071 instead. Refurb pricing on this model can be very good — confirm a service contract before you sign.
