The Sharp BP-C545WD is the 45-ppm version of Sharp's compact desktop color A4 MFP — same chassis, same DSPF, same 7-inch touchscreen as the BP-C535WD, but 10 ppm faster. It prints and copies at 45 pages per minute in both black and color at 1200 x 1200 dpi, with first copy out at 5.3 seconds B/W from platen. The 100-sheet DSPF scans two-sided originals at 130 ipm, which matters when scanning is the actual bottleneck (intake forms, contracts, signed agreements). Standard capacity is 550 sheets in one drawer plus a 50-sheet bypass; you can stack up to three optional 600-sheet drawers for a 2,350-sheet maximum. PCL 6 and Adobe PostScript 3 are both standard, Wi-Fi 802.11ac is standard, and direct print from Word/Excel/PowerPoint plus scan-to-cloud (Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Box, Dropbox, Google Drive) work without add-on kits. The thing buyers regret: same as the C535WD — no tabloid. If you ever need 11x17, you bought the wrong machine. Best fit: an office of 8-20 printing 1,500-5,000 pages a month who values the faster engine and the single-pass duplex feeder over A3 capability.
