Sharp MX-M6051
The Sharp MX-M6051 is a 60 ppm A3 monochrome MFP from Sharp's mid-cycle generation, sold today refurbished for departments, busy workgroups, and shared print zones doing 18,000 to 32,000 B&W pages a month. It runs 60 ppm at 1200 x 1200 dpi, supports 11 x 17, has duplex print and scan, an early Android-based panel, Gigabit Ethernet, USB, optional Wi-Fi, AirPrint, and Mopria. The thing buyers regret: pricing for this in-between generation is awkward — too new to be cheap, too old to win a 5-year cost battle vs a new MX-M6071. Buy this only when the refurb gap is at least 30 percent. With that gap and a meter under 3M, this is a strong B&W workhorse; without it, the new model wins on parts pipeline and modern apps. Departmental classification means it is built for shared use by 15-30 staff.
