Sharp MX-M364N

The Sharp MX-M364N is a 36 ppm A3 monochrome MFP from Sharp's earlier generation, sold today refurbished for small offices and team workspaces doing 5,500 to 12,000 B&W pages a month. It supports 36 ppm at 1200 x 1200 dpi, 11 x 17, duplex print and scan, the older Sharp panel, Gigabit Ethernet, USB, and optional Wi-Fi. The thing buyers regret: at 36 ppm with refurb pricing, the MX-M364N looks attractive, but the older toner platform costs more per page than current MX-M3571 toner, and the panel cannot run modern cloud apps. Add 4 years of consumable cost and a refurb often lands within 15 percent of a new MX-M3571. Run the math against your actual monthly volume before signing — the gap is usually larger than buyers assume. If your dealer prices the refurb 35 percent or more below new, fine; otherwise step up to current generation.
