The Sharp MX-M3051 is a 30 ppm A3 monochrome MFP from Sharp's mid-cycle generation, sold today refurbished for small offices and team workspaces doing 4,000 to 9,000 B&W pages a month. It runs 30 ppm at 1200 x 1200 dpi, supports 11 x 17, has duplex print and scan, and ships with an early Android-based panel. Networking covers Gigabit Ethernet, USB, optional Wi-Fi, AirPrint, and Mopria. The thing buyers regret: at 30 ppm with A3 capability and a refurb price, the MX-M3051 is a sweet spot for small offices — but only when the meter is reasonable. A unit over 1.2M pages on a 30 ppm class is mid-life, and the next major service is closer than the buyer expects. Always pull the meter. With low meter and a service contract, this is a strong refurb pick; without those, the current MX-M3071 wins on long-term cost.
