Sharp MX-M266N

The Sharp MX-M266N is a 26 ppm A3 monochrome MFP from Sharp's earlier generation — close cousin of the MX-M264N. Sold today as refurbished hardware for small offices doing 2,000 to 5,500 B&W pages a month. It supports 26 ppm at 1200 x 1200 dpi, 11 x 17, duplex print and scan, the older Sharp panel, Gigabit Ethernet, USB, and optional Wi-Fi. The thing buyers regret: the MX-M266N and MX-M264N are easy to confuse on parts orders — they share most of the engine but ship with different finisher SKUs. Always confirm the suffix on every accessory or parts order. As refurbished kit with the right parts and a real service contract, and a meter under 1 million pages, the MX-M266N is workable for offices that already run other prior-gen MX boxes; for new-purchase buyers, the current MX-M2630 is the better long-term bet on parts pipeline and panel.
