The Sharp MX-B427W is the smallest A4 mono MFP in Sharp's lineup — built for 1-3 person home offices and mobile workers who need a real print/copy/scan/fax MFP that actually fits on a desk (16.2 x 14.4 x 13.3 inches, 28 lbs). Print and copy at 42 ppm mono with first-page-out at 5.9 seconds from the platen. The 50-sheet single-pass DSPF scans at 96 ipm mono / 42 ipm color, and the 2.8" color touchscreen handles basic copy/scan setup — it's small, but the menu is simple. Standard 350-sheet input (250-sheet drawer plus 100-sheet bypass), expandable to 900 with one optional MX-CS26 550-sheet drawer. Standard PCL 6 and PostScript 3 compatible printing, Fast Ethernet 10/100, USB 2.0, 802.11 a/ac/b/g/n Wi-Fi, AirPrint, Wi-Fi Direct, and Sharp's cloud connectors for OneDrive, SharePoint, Google Drive, Box, and Dropbox. Front USB port for direct printing of PDFs from a thumb drive. The thing buyers regret: assuming this is a workgroup printer. The MX-B427W is built for 1-3 users and a small monthly volume; if you have more than 3 daily users or you print over 2,500 pages a month, the MX-B467F (46 ppm, 4.3" screen, expandable to 2,000 sheets) is the right step up.
