Sharp MX-5111N
The Sharp MX-5111N is the small refresh of the MX-5110N — same 51 ppm A3 color engine, minor controller updates, sold mostly refurbished today. Target is small offices and workgroups doing 6,000 to 15,000 mixed pages a month that want A3 color without paying for a new MX-5071. It supports 51 ppm color and B&W, 11 x 17, duplex print and scan, the legacy OSA panel, Gigabit Ethernet, USB, and optional Wi-Fi. The thing buyers regret: the gap between MX-5110N and MX-5111N is small enough that paying extra for the 5111N often does not show up in day-to-day use. Compare side-by-side and buy on price plus parts availability rather than the suffix. As refurbished hardware with a sound service contract, the MX-5111N is a competent A3 color box; for a new buy, look at the MX-5071 for the longer parts runway.
