Sharp MX-5110N
The Sharp MX-5110N is an older 51 ppm A3 color MFP, sold today mostly refurbished for workgroups that want close to 50 ppm color throughput at a low buy-in. It runs 51 ppm color and B&W, supports 11 x 17, duplex print and scan, and uses the legacy OSA panel. Volume target is 6,000 to 14,000 mixed pages a month for small offices, satellite branches, and back-office teams. Connectivity is Gigabit Ethernet and USB, with optional Wi-Fi. The thing buyers regret: this model is far enough back that toner pricing has crept up and panel cloud apps are limited; total cost over 4-5 years lands closer to a current MX-5071 than the refurb sticker suggests. Buy only if the dealer commits to toner pricing in writing for the service term. If they will, this is workable; if they will not, walk to the current generation.
