Sharp MX-2615N

The Sharp MX-2615N is a compact 26-ppm A3 color multifunction launched in 2013, sized for small offices and workgroups of 5-15 people printing 800-2,500 pages a month. It prints and copies 26 ppm in both mono and color on letter (14 ppm on tabloid), scans through a standard 100-sheet RSPF, and ships with a single 500-sheet drawer plus 100-sheet bypass for 600 sheets standard, expandable to 3,100 sheets across optional drawers. The 7-inch color LCD touchscreen is the user-facing UI, with optional retractable keyboard. Standard connectivity is Gigabit Ethernet and USB 2.0; Wi-Fi via the optional MX-EB13 adapter; PCL 6 is the standard PDL with Adobe PostScript 3 available as the optional MX-PK11 kit. The 320 GB internal hard drive holds Document Filing for up to 30,000 pages. The thing buyers regret: buying a new MX-2615N in 2024 when the BP-50C26 sells for similar money, runs the same 26 ppm, and ships with the modern 10.1" tilting touchscreen, native Microsoft Teams folder scan, OneDrive, Box, and Dropbox in the base controller, and Universal Print support. The MX-2615N is a fine machine on an existing service contract, but it's not the right pick for a fresh install.
