Sharp MX-2310U

The Sharp MX-2310U is a compact 23-ppm A3 color multifunction launched in 2010, sized for small offices and workgroups of 5-15 people printing 500-2,000 pages a month. It prints and copies 23 ppm in both mono and color on letter (11 ppm on tabloid), scans through a standard 100-sheet RSPF, and ships with a single 500-sheet drawer plus 100-sheet bypass for 600 sheets standard, expandable to 2,100 sheets across optional drawers. The 7-inch color LCD with thumbnail previews and stylus pen is the user-facing UI. Standard connectivity is Gigabit Ethernet and USB 2.0; PCL 6 is the standard PDL with Adobe PostScript 3 available as the optional MX-PK11 kit. Dimensions are 23 x 24.5 x 32.8 in. (one of the smaller A3 color MFPs Sharp ever shipped), and a space-saving inner finisher (MX-FN19) plus hole punch (MX-PNX5) are the matched options. The thing buyers regret: buying a new MX-2310U in 2024. The platform launched in 2010, native macOS support stops at 10.6, there's no Wi-Fi, and Cloud Connect (Teams, OneDrive, Box, Dropbox) was a later-generation addition.
