The Sharp MX-7580N is a 75 ppm A3 color production MFP, the enterprise-class version of the MX-7500N family — built for high-volume in-house print rooms, centralized production zones, and large enterprise print shops doing 60,000 to 120,000 pages a month. Sold today refurbished for shops that want enterprise production capability without enterprise sticker prices. It runs 75 ppm color and B&W, supports 11 x 17 and heavier stock, has duplex print and scan, and ships with the older enterprise panel. Networking is Gigabit Ethernet, USB, and optional fiber-channel options on some variants. The thing buyers regret: this is a serious enterprise box, and refurbs often come with the assumption you have an enterprise service desk and a dedicated tech relationship. If you do not, the running costs and downtime risk look very different. Buy this only if you have a service contract that includes 4-hour response, and the meter is under 4M pages.
